March was a bit of a stressful month... and when I say "a bit" I mean one hell of a. Medical appointments, specialists and scary new meds were had. More of the same this month as well but hopefully by the time I do the NEXT update they will all be behind me and life will be much calmer. For now though - My stress levels are through the roof!

I got a pet budgie - You can see pictures of him here. Unfortunately as sometimes happens with birds (especially little baby birds) he had a stroke one afternoon and passed away. I hadn't had him long but he stole my heart. Cuddles were his number one trait as you can see in the pictures he loved the be cupped inside my hand snuggling to nap. I miss him dearly :( We will see in a month or so what the "pet forecast" holds... for now though I am a solo act.

A local store had a great deal on Wacom tablets and since I had been wanting one really badly for some years, I could not resist the drop in price! I got myself a Wacom bamboo tablet and have been learning to use it! You can see my first attempts at painting on it here. I hope the more I use it the better I will get with it :) I love that I can use it for so many different tasks! Typing, note taking, painting, sketching, all sorts of art mediums, photo editing etc and so forth! I also love that when the urge hits me to be artistic I do not have to get all set up in my wheelchair beside the table! There is no mess to clean up! I just pick up the pen, doodle/paint/edit/whatever until I feel like quitting and just set the pen down! Quite perfect for my situation really!

Weather here has been crap! Snowing well into spring which annoys me to no end. *Grumbles* Though we have had a couple of "spring weather" days tossed in to keep shit interesting. Of course with spring comes all the bratty kids playing outside on my ramp... boo! Yesterday one was throwing a ROCK at my wall (think wally-ball but with a rock not a ball). I finally gave him shit and he pretend as though he could not hear me even though he was a foot away. Sometimes I wonder what the fuck is wrong with the kids in my complex - little brats! ;) Reinforces why I dislike people's kids so intensely!

My camera is pretty much kaput - I need to snag a new one and am still in the process of researching them to choose one. If you have a camera you love that is less than $500.00 please feel free to email me a recommendation with information as to WHY you love it. I need something that has auto mode and more importantly manual mode! If I can not have both I pick manual mode over auto. Point and shoot cameras suck! I prefer to have both modes because admittedly there are times when I don't have the time or ambition to manually set it up for my sessions.

I would also like to remind you that I have two blogs -Though I did not blog much this month- My game blog here (where I review games and such ) and my normal blog here (where I blog about anything and everything that is not game related).
